At Orbis, we help leaders become great communicators. So they can become better leaders.
Orbis Leadership Communication provides strategic advice on organizational communication and helps leaders sharpen their skills as communicators.
We’ll work with you to raise the quality of communication across your organization. Starting with a look at your long-term goals and how effectively your leadership team is communicating them. And we offer leadership-focused communication courses, ranging from key message development to media training, business writing and presentation skills.
We support leadership teams with:
Strategic planning to improve the quality and effectiveness of organizational communication
Communication programmes for leaders and next-generation leaders
Basic communication skills for client-facing staff
What sets us apart?
Our international perspective and a team of advisors and partners with years of experience in journalism, corporate communications, leadership coaching and global finance. And a special focus on the intersection of leadership communication and technology.
We start with a conversation about how your organization communicates and what we can do to help you raise the bar.
The best way to improve a communication skill is to practice it. So when we get down to the training, we avoid getting overly theoretical.
In the media programmes, we’ll put you in front of a “journalist” who might have some tough questions to ask you. We’ll videotape the interview so you can see how you did.
In writing training, you’ll write and get some coaching on how to sharpen up your prose. And since a three-hour workshop isn’t going to solve everything, we offer as much follow-up coaching as you want.

Same with presentations. We’ll go through tips on how to make your slides look great, and the thinking behind getting both the text and the visuals right. Then we’ll practice presenting the content in front of a small group – it’s the best way to find out if your presentation is going to wow the audience, or send them back to their phones.
In every programme, we’ll keep coming back to your key messages. They should be compelling and consistent, whether you’re addressing an internal audience, the media or a group of scoop-hungry journalists. Get them right and everything else get easier.
